Switching Creativity

Earlier today, I updated my logo on The Hedgeblog. And then I was going to really get going on my WIP. I am doing a NaNoWriMo inspired write-athon this month, mainly ‘cos I am sick of myself procrastinating, and just want to get the damn thing finished!

So, what do I do? I start browsing Pinterest, and found an irresistible pin showing how to draw a hedgehog in 4 easy steps. HOW could I resist this challenge? Easily, you say. No, not me! I used to draw years ago, and I was curious to see if I can still do it. That’s the ‘almost Aries’ in me. Long story!

Of course, after the hedgehog was drawn, he needed a little house, in which MUST be a bookcase, (because books!!!), and then of course, a little table and crockery in case of visitors

.

Here is my progress if anyone is interested in my scribblings:

First, sketch a hedgehog…

.

Well, that wasn't so hard! Hand cramp doing all those spikes though.

Wanna  extreme CLOSE UP??

Here it is then…

Hedgey never went to skool, but he sure loves sniffing those bookz!

.

Well that’s ALL FOLKS!

.

Love from Hedgey and I, over at the Hedgehole! x

With apologies to my husband and kids. Who needs dinner anyway? 😉

  1. Your hedgehog is excellent and suits your blogs personality – quirky and fun. Pinterest sounds fascinating, and very useful. I ought to check it out sometime. Now stop procrastinating, Hedgey, and go and get some writing done. (I’m a right one to talk!) 😀
